The colonization of Theta Beta chapter was a work-in progress for more than a year, beginning with the selection of Alpha Delta Pi to join the campus in the spring of 2006. In January 2007, the recruitment and colonization process began, and the chapter was installed in April with 55 initiates. From the start, Theta Beta participated and excelled in many campus and community activities. At their first Greek Awards Ceremony, Theta Beta won the Director's Award, a distinction selected by the university administration, as well as the Chanticleer Hasting Award for Outstanding New Student Organization. The chapter also won first place overall in Greek Week.
